Go Fly A Kite

Kiting is as old as old Ben Franklin.  For most people it's something you do when you are a kid and then again maybe later with your own kids and perhaps just kind of drop it after that.  There's no need for that,  Kite flying isn't just for kids anymore.  It's a great sport and there are lot's of different kinds of kites out there now.  Depending on where you live,  there are usually kite festivals and competitions,  and if not,   just getting out there and getting some fresh air and looking at the blue sky is reason enough to do it.

I rekindled my love for kites when I was living in England by the sea and what a perfect place to both fly,   and have competitions and festivals.  I tried to master a dual line kite,  but it's an art that  takes awhile to master and a lot of coordination. I ended up going back to a single line.  Old School,   but still cool!
A lot easier to control to.  Kites come in every size and shape imaginable now and there really is some awesome eye catching designs out there.

There are single and dual line kites,  sports kites,  competition kites and extreme kites for kite buggying,  one of these buggies pictured below is needed in addition to the kite.  This is an expensive sport but as you can well imagine,  The adrenaline rush is attractive.

I did say,   there is a good selection of kites out there !
Just like always,  practice common sense and make sure you fly your kite well away from any power lines.

Do Have A Good Day  And Happy Kiting !
