Getting Karma Onside ( Selfless Acts Of Kindness )

It goes without even saying that most people go about their daily lives without ever going out of their way or deviating from their usual routines to perform a good deed for anyone never mind a complete stranger. Good deeds are often thankless and that's exactly what they were meant to be. If we performed good deeds because we knew for sure that we would be rewarded for it, then more people would perform these deeds daily for the single purpose of gain, and the whole of the exercise would be redundant.
One never knows when or even if karma will visit and reward you for your selfless acts of humanitarianism and kindness or perhaps come calling for reasons less desirable. Some people never see this happen, while others are rewarded sometimes even years later, in any number of ways. The act of performing these kinds of humanitarian efforts alone is reward enough for many people. Don't perform a selfless act and wait around to see benefit. If you perform a kindness, and expect to see the results soon afterwards, you might be waiting a long time for nothing. Some people don't do anything unless it offers instant gratification and reward, and sharing, is out of the question. Some people don't believe in karma, right up until the time it sneaks up on them and pastes them on the nose for getting it so wrong.
Unlock The Secrets Of Karma |
Sometimes we don't realize the huge impact a small gesture of kindness can have on our fellowman. Karma does smile on deeds of kindness, it just takes it's own time and often waits until we least expect it to ever happen. Yesterday, Shelley and I were stopped at a red light, when we were suddenly rear ended by a woman traveling alone. The impact startled us a lot. We got out of the car to check for any damages to our vehicle and the other cars occupant. This lady was visibly shaken and apologetic and started openly weeping. We took this lady in our arms and gave her a hug and tried to soothe her and tell her that not only were we okay, but there was no visible damage to our vehicle and virtually none on her car, and that her offer to take her information was not necessary and we would all be okay. With that, we left the scene.
There was no swearing, yelling or pointing fingers of blame and I'm sure this lady was better able to regain her composure and continue on. While initially, I was a bit worried that we might wake, Monday morning, with stiff necks and regret not taking this woman's particulars, but as Monday came, we were both fine. While this may not be seen as a good deed to some, it was a display of selflessness and compassion that allowed us to continue on without being upset for the rest of the day after offering consoling to someone in distress, so maybe that was a good deed of sorts.
Good deeds never go unrewarded if they are performed as a selfless act. Every single action we take, and every spoken wish and word we utter or make, vibrate outwards into the universe and cause some kind of reaction. A sort of, cause and effect is triggered like the ripples radiating outwards from of a thrown stone into flat water. It's when these words or actions are of a negative, or selfish nature that karma also goes to work with a negative note that can have a way of showing us that the rewards for such outwardly negativity are less than desirable.
Some people start with good intentions and perform many good deeds and kindnesses on a regular basis, but eventually they become bitter as they see that no matter how helpful they are, these deeds are seldom ever repaid. It's at this time that these people stop these kindnesses, often never realizing they were undertaken with only the idea that something in return should be forthcoming to them. When you learn to do these things without expecting return, it is then that you position yourself to bring karma onside where it can prove to you it's workings and become a close dependable ally in your life.
Karma is a mysterious lady that comes and goes silently, like a winged angel, serious about her occupation, observing the natural laws of the universe at work and adding her own touches as she sees fit. Children are often most in tune with other peoples feelings and often reach out to help others unselfishly and with conviction and determination. Doing a good deed for a stranger can have an amazing impact on both yourself and that of the stranger the kindness was given to. The tiniest of gestures can have astronomical positive results. You might make someones day, week, month, year, or even lifetime. You just don't know. You might cause reason for a suicidal person to suddenly gain new hope and instead thrive again and enjoy life. You might give someone hope, where there was none. You might cause someones faith in humanity to be restored.
Acts of selfless compassion are undertaken every day. Helping an elderly person across the street, giving someone less fortunate some change, surprising a co-worker or friend with an unexpected coffee, assisting a sight impaired person for a short time, offering to put in a few cents at a store when someone in front of you comes up short to pay for a purchase. You may run into someone that looks like they could use a hand with any number of things. Opportunities are ever presenting themselves to you. It's up to you to recognize them and do the right thing, for all the right reasons. Acts of heroism are of course good deeds and anyone that sees another person in need of assistance and offers aid at the risk of their own safety, whether acting on impulse or not, is truly selfless and courageous.
Many of us go through life thinking that we are just ordinary humans, mortals without much control over what happens to us or around us, and those people couldn't be more wrong. We each have powers that are capable of the greatest of things imaginable. If we have the power to change someones life in some of the ways I have mentioned, then is that not a powerful tool from our very own arsenal of inherent traits that we were given to make our lives successful and meaningful ? We are only as mortal as we allow ourselves to be. You are only limited by your own thoughts. Open yourself to the rhythm of the universe and it will in turn, unlock it's secrets in abundance to you.
I'm not suggesting that you spend all your time looking for the chance to do a good deeds one after another, or giving all your change to the beggar on the street corner every day. Just keep your eyes and your mind open to awareness as these things present themselves to you, and let the natural laws of the universe go to work for you.

Think of these pictures as a window that your desires can be cast out from, into the universe where they will be a cause with reason for effect.
Each time you look at this picture, say what you want in life aloud and with conviction.
Know that these words and aspirations are cast out into the universe, across the sands and the water towards the sun and the cosmos, as they vibrate, seeking out effect to answer your cause, or desires, aspirations and hopes. Ask for and believe with unwavering faith, those requests within reason of the natural laws of the universe will be forthcoming.
