CROSS ROAD

THE LAUGHS THE LIFE
THE TIMES WE HAD TO SEE
WAITING INSIDE
A FAVOURABLE LIGHT
AT A PLACE
WE COULD OWN OUR TIME
SEE GOOD RISE
WITHOUT DECLINE
I DON'T MISS A THING
I LEFT BEHIND
A NEW MOON
A NEW YEAR
A NEW DAY
WITH YOU NEAR
WE ALWAYS KNEW
SOMEHOW WE'D FIND A WAY
SHOULD WE SAY IT'S LOVE
OR SOMETHING MORE
WE'RE COMING TO A CROSS ROAD
ONE LEADS TO THE SHORE
THE OTHER CLIMBS UP TO THE SKY
TAKE A BOAT
FLOAT BENEATH THE STARS
DRIFTING
THE WINDS ARE SHIFTING
CHANGING SIDES
OR TAKE REFUGE IN THE TREES
WHERE THE AIR STARTS TO THIN
IT'S EITHER OF THESE
THE CHOICES THAT WE MAKE
ARE ALL CHANCES
AND LEAPS OF FAITH
WHEN THE HARSH WINDS
ARE BLOWING COLD
THE SUMMERS A MEMORY
FADING INTO GLOOM
I HOPE TIMES LEAVES US
SOME ROOM
TO GET THERE BEFORE
WE GET OLD
STILL SEARCHING FOR
THE ONE ANSWER
THAT TURNS IT ALL AROUND
LOVE DOESN'T MAKE
SO MUCH A SOUND
AS A FEELING
THAT SURROUNDS YOU
WE'RE TOO FAR IN
TO EVER STOP
SO MANY PLANS
WE COULDN'T DROP
SHOULD WE SAY IT'S LOVE
OR SOMETHING MORE
IT DOESN'T MATTER TO ME
AS LONG AS I'M WITH YOU
IN THE TREES
OR ON THE SHORE
