BEAUTY IN THE WORLD
WRITTEN BY J. R HILTON 2016 05 13
WINDMILL TURNING IN THE SUN
WHEAT SWAYING IN THE BREEZE
BIRDS ARE ON THE WING
DOES IT MEAN ANYTHING
WHAT ELSE COULD THIS DAY BRING
THE FLOWERS IN THE GARDEN PUTTING 0N A SHOW
OH WHAT DO YOU KNOW
YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW
YOU SEE WHAT YOU EXPECT TO SEE
WHAT YOU WANT IT TO BE
IS THERE MORE THAN THIS
WATERS, SOMETHING THAT YOU'LL ALWAYS NEED
TO FUEL YOUR DREAMS
WITHOUT IT LIFE DOESN'T MEAN A THING
AT THE SEA, A RIVER A POND, A STREAM
WATER IS EVERYTHING
TAKE A WALK, JUST BEYOND THE BREAKERS
WHERE THE WIND TASTES LIKE SALT
WHERE THE MOONLIGHTS MAGIC SINKS IN
SEE THE SUN DEPART BENEATH THE SEA
IN A BLAZE OF RED ORANGE GOLD
I LIKE MY SUNSETS BOLD
LIFE KICKS INTO GEAR
THE PIECES JUST FALL INTO PLACE
AND SO ENDS THE CHASE
JUST THE STRUGGLES TO FACE
FIND BEAUTY IN THE WORLD
IN THE SIMPLEST THINGS
A TINY FLOWER OR A FAIRY RING
A PLACE IN THE WOODS YOU CAN CALL YOUR OWN
EVEN JUST TO SIT THERE ALL ALONE
TAKE IN THE BEAUTY, LET IT FILL YOUR SOUL
TAKE A PLACE IN YOUR HEART
IT'S SOMEWHERE, IT'S SOMEWHERE TO START
