ONE MORE FALL
ONE MORE FALL COULD TIP THE SCALE
STIR UP A TEMPEST, CALL UP A GALE
IF MY LIFE'S WORTH SO MUCH
WHY'S IT SUCH A TRIAL
THE LAYERS ARE TORN I FEEL EXPOSED
FOR ALL TO SEE, JUST WHAT IS LEFT OF ME
I NEED A BEACH WITH MY FEET ON THE SAND
KARMA, WON'T YOU LEND ME A HAND
ALWAYS PICKING UP THE PIECES
OF SOME SHATTERED DREAM
THE FIRE OF HOPE, IS NOW JUST A GLEAM
SO HARD, TO KEEP IT ALL GOING
STOKE THE FIRE, MAKE IT BURN
MAKE IT LAST THROUGH EVERY STORM
KEEP ME WARM, KEEP ME FROM HARM
LET A LITTLE SUNSHINE IN
SOMETHING GOOD FOR ME
FROM BEGINNING TO END
FILL UP MY FAITH, WHEN IT'S RUNNING LOW
WHEN DARKNESS GRIPS ME
AND WON'T LET GO
I'VE BEEN DOING, PRETTY WELL
HANDLING EVERYTHING AND ALL
TAKING IT AS IT COMES
BUT ONE MORE FALL, COULD TIP THE SCALE
STIR UP A TEMPEST, CALL UP A GALE
IF MY LIFE'S WORTH SO MUCH
WHY'S IT SUCH A TRIAL
GAIN AN INCH, AND LOSE A MILE
I HAVE TO BELIEVE, I CAN MAKE IT
OR MY LIFE DOESN'T MEAN A THING
IT'S THESE HOPES, THAT I CLING TO
TO SEE WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS
