LOSING GROUND

THE CLOCK ON THE WALL SAYS ITS THREE
LOOKING IN THE MIRROR I'M NOT EVEN SURE
ITS ME THAT I SEE STARING BACK
HOW LONG COULD THIS LAST
IS THIS A THING THAT I CAN'T GET PAST
CONSUMING ME A DAY AT A TIME
TEARING DOWN ALL THE WALLS I BUILT
LOOKING OUT MY WINDOW
THE MOON LOOKING IN
REACHING FOR MY FEELNGS
FEELING DISCONNECTED
I'VE LOST MY GROUND
TELL ME PLEASE
WHERE IT CAN BE FOUND
OH MY HOW SORROW SWELLS
LIKE AN OCEAN TIDE
LEAVES ME DRIFTING FAR AND WIDE
LOOKING FOR ANSWERS
RAISING WISHES AND PRAYERS
TO ANYONE THAT CARES
DON'T LEAVE ME HANGING ON
MAYBE YOU COULD TAKE ME BY THE HAND
LEAD ME TO A PLACE
AND STAND
LOOKING OUT ON THE WORLD
AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S REAL TO ME
ANYMORE
HOW COULD I BE
BUT HERE I AM
STILL BETWEEN HERE AND THERE
JOY ON ONE SIDE
THE OTHER DESPAIR
SO FORGIVE ME IF
I THROW MY HANDS UP IN THE AIR
I DON'T NEED TO FALL AGAIN
I'M HANGING ON AS BEST AS I CAN
HOW LONG COULD THIS LAST
THIS THING I CAN'T GET PAST
