THE MOON LOOKS ON
WRITTEN BY JEFF R HILTON
2019
THE TWILIGHT CAME
BLEEDING COLORS FROM THE SKY
TURNING DAY INTO NIGHT
LEGIONS OF STARS
WIND THEIR WAY THROUGH
COSMIC SKIES
THE MOON LOOKS ON
SUMMERS GREAT DIVIDE
WHEN I NEED TO FLY
IT LIFTS ME UP SO I
RISE ABOVE THAT
WHICH KEEPS ME DOWN
WHY STAY
WHEN I CAN FLY
LEAVE MISERY BEHIND
THE TEARS WILL DRY
JUST A TOUCH
ANOTHER SOMETHING REAL
SO MUCH TO FEEL
LET IT FLOW INSIDE YOU
TIME CARRIES LEGENDS
AND DREAMS THAT CAME TRUE
TOO MUCH WONDERING
WHERE I FIT IN
I DIDN'T REALIZE
WHAT A GOOD THING
THAT IT IS I DON'T
NO PATH TO FOLLOW
I HAD TO MAKE MY OWN
AS I PASS BY
UNCERTAINTY AND DARKNESS
MY FAITH GOES BEFORE ME
ALONE ALONG THE WAY
UNTIL LOVE COULD FIND ME
WOULD YOU LEAVE YOUR HEART
IN MY HANDS
WOULD YOU LET ME CATCH YOU
WHEN YOU FALL
CARE ENOUGH ABOUT ME
TO STAY AT ALL
TELL ME WHAT IT IS
THAT YOUR HEART WOULD BRING
TO MY LIFE
COULD I BELIEVE IN YOU
FOR THE REST OF TIME
THE MOON LOOKS ON
SUMMERS GREAT DIVIDE
WON'T YOU
STEP INTO ITS LIGHT
