OFF OUT
WRITTEN BY J.R HILTON
JUNE 2016
SUN ON MY FACE, AND WIND IN MY HAIR
SMILE ON MY FACE NOW BECAUSE I'M GOING SOMEWHERE
HEADED OUT FOR THE THE WEEKEND
THE MOUNTAINS ARE GETTING CLOSER
I CAN FEEL MY HEART LIFT AND MY SPIRIT SOAR
I CAN SENSE FREEDOM WAITING TO BE HAD
AND I'M GLAD I GET TO SHARE IT WITH YOU
THE LOVE THAT NEVER HAD THE TIME
NOW FREEDOMS YOURS AND MINE
THE HAPPINESS WE FIND WILL CARRY US THROUGH
WE TAKE OUR PLACE BENEATH THE TREES
NESTLED IN THE MOUNTAINS BY A LITTLE STREAM
MESMERIZED BY WHAT I'VE ALREADY SEEN
INTOXICATED BY ALL THIS GREEN
THE SUNSET BURNS BRIGHT
STRANGLES THE LIGHT
GIVING WAY TO MOON AND STARS
THE FLICKER OF THE FIRELIGHT
AND EVERYTHING IS GOOD HERE TONIGHT
FIND A WAY, FIND THE TIME, TO GET AWAY
DON'T YOU KNOW THAT YOU'VE GOT TO PLAY
ONLY HAVE SO MUCH TIME
LAY IT ON THE LINE
FIND THE TIME, FIND A WAY
DON'T LET GO OF THESE DAYS
THEY WILL NEVER PASS YOUR WAY AGAIN
LIVE IN YOUR HEART, LOVE IN YOUR HEAD
TURN IT ON, TURN IT AROUND INSTEAD
RENEW YOUR CONNECTION
MAKE THAT SELECTION
TAKE IT IN LET IT OUT
YOU WERE NEVER IN DOUBT
WE'RE BETTER OFF OUT
