FIND THE SUMMER
(THAT NEVER ENDS)
WRITTEN BY: J.R HILTON JUNE 2016
I SEE A PICTURE OF SOMETHING OR SOMEWHERE
I WANT TO GO, INSTEAD OF THE PLACES I'VE BEEN
SOMETHING NEW TO DREAM
PLANTING THE SEEDS, I'VE NEVER SEEN, IN MY HEAD
WOULD YOU GO THERE WITH ME
IT'S BEST IF YOU'RE AT MY SIDE
BECAUSE YOU AND I HAVE GOT THIS THING
WHAT IT TAKES WE BRING
CHORUS
WE'RE COMING THROUGH ON A SOUTHEAST WIND
HEAR THE WIND CHIMES PLAY AGAIN
AS THE WAVES CARESS THE SAND
HEY WE STILL CAN DREAM
AND YOU STILL MEAN EVERYTHING
FIND THE SUMMER THAT NEVER ENDS
AND I WILL FOLLOW, AND STOP RIGHT THERE
AND STAY RIGHT THERE, FOR THE REST OF TIME
IF ONLY I HAD THAT, IT WAS YOURS AND MINE
PLANTING THE SEEDS I'VE NEVER SEEN IN MY HEAD
AND TOSSING AWAY THE ONES THAT ARE DEAD
I WAKE UP AND STILL HEAR THE CALL OF THE SEA
I STILL HEAR THE WHISTLES AND BELLS
I CAN SEE THE SHINGLE BEACHES COVERED IN SHELLS
THE SALTY KISS OF THE SEA, NEVER FAR AWAY
MAN IT'S JUST A DIFFERENT WORLD
ONE THAT TURNS ME TOWARDS MY FINEST HOURS
YOU AND I MAY HAVE TO GO
I THINK I KNOW YOU WOULD
WE'D ALREADY BE THERE IF WE COULD
