DRIFTING
LOST ON AN EMPTY SEA, DRIFTING HELPLESSLY
IT'S THE WIND THAT OWNS MY SOUL
NO MERCY FROM THE STORMS THAT KEEP ON BLOWING
KEEPING ME FROM SHORE
LIVING LEAN AND WANTING MORE
LIFT MY FACE TOWARDS THE SUN
HOPE THERE'S STILL TIME
TO CHASE DOWN THESE DREAMS
THE CLOSER I GET, THE FURTHER AWAY IT SEEMS
RAGING IN SILENCE, MY HANDS ARE TIED
TIRED OF BEING CRUCIFIED
STUCK BETWEEN HERE AND THERE
DRIFTING AND NEVER GETTING ANYWHERE
THE WINDS OF CHANGE, THE TIDES OF FORTUNE
OOH COME ON MY WAY, I CAN'T HANG ON LIKE THIS
DAY AFTER DAY, OOH COME MY WAY
WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS
WERE ALL THOSE YEARS REALLY WASTED
OR JUST REHEARSAL FOR THE FINAL SCENE
WHERE HAS MY LIFE BEEN
DRIFTING ON THE SEA, ALL ALONE JUST ME
AND I HAVEN'T GOT THE TIME
THROW ME A LIFELINE, GET ME TO PORT
BOBBING LIKE A CORK ON AN OPEN SEA
HOLDING ON FOR DEAR LIFE, RESCUE ME
I STILL BELIEVE, MY FAITHS NOT SHAKEN
WAITING TO SHINE, LET IT ALL UNFOLD
LET IT ALL UNWIND
RESCUE ME, STOP ME FROM DRIFTING
RESCUE ME, FROM DRIFTING ON THIS SEA
