SOLDIER ON
Written by: Jeff R Hilton

It's late, it's the hour
Long since the dark closed the flower.
Can't say I'm not tired
Wired and all alone.
Can't say I'm not inspired
To soldier on, until the fight is won.
I can feel I must be close
Find the most I've found.
Take another look around
Be careful choose your ground.
Back me up if you can
Fight don't run away
Watch my back throughout the day.
Never been so determined, to end the war today
Make them give up, and pay.
Victory brings a taste so sweet
I've tasted before, left me wanting more.
And now it's at hand again
I can smell it on the breeze.
Evil's going to lose, left me all these clues.
Forward rings the cry, to battle onto war
Like I've learned it all before
Like I've learned it all before
Another time another war.
Never been so determined, to end the war today.
Soldier on, forward rings the cry.
Like I've learned it all before
And I know the reasons why.
