WHERE IT FALLS
WRITTEN BY J.R HILTON
2018
A SUMMER DAY WINDING DOWN
THE SUN IS SETTING
THE COLORS ARE RISING
BEAUTIFUL SKY
TOO MUCH BEAUTY TO HIDE
TO KEEP INSIDE
THE SERENITY, THE SOLITUDE
FINDS MY HEART
THAT'S WHERE IT STARTS
THE ENDLESS DREAM
THE TIME MACHINE
THAT HOLDS ME TO THE FUTURE
I'M STANDING FAST
I'M HOLDING ON
MY PATIENCE IS GROWING THIN
IT'S ALMOST GONE
FLOATING ON A SEA
OF UNCERTAINTY
LIKE A SINGLE LEAF
DANCING ON THE BREEZE
FLOATING NOT SURE WHERE TO LAND
A BEAUTIFUL MOMENT
THAT NOBODY OWNS
HALF A WORLD AWAY
ISN'T SO FAR
YOU CAN BE THERE
IN A DAY
BUT I CHOOSE TO BE HERE
I CHOOSE TO STAY
DON'T NEED SOMEWHERE ELSE
THIS AIN'T NO CONTEST
IT'S NOT A GAME
I KEEP IT REAL
BUT NEVER THE SAME
IN THE HARSH LIGHT
OF A NEW DAY
LAY IT OUT I'LL FIND A WAY
EVERY DAYS A CHALLENGE
A CHANCE TO PERSEVERE
I DON'T ALWAYS GET THERE
BUT I'M GETTING NEAR
FATE WILL LAND
WHERE IT FALLS
WHEN THE NIGHT CLOSES IN
DARK SILENCE FILLS THE ROOM
I'M WIDE AWAKE WAITING
FOR WHAT I DON'T KNOW
THE TICKING OF THE CLOCK
AND THE MOONLIGHTS GLOW
