MADMAN AT SEA
WRITTEN BY: J.R HILTON

DRIFTING ON A FLAT SEA
A MIRROR TO THE SKY
ALONE MY MIND EXPLODES INTO A KALEIDOSCOPE
WITH NO DISTINCTION OF BEGINNING OR END
NO IDEA OF HOW OR WHEN
WHERE I'M GOING OR WHERE I CAME FROM
WAITING FOR THE MOON
TO SAVE ME FROM THE SUN
WAITING FOR THE WIND TO SEND ME
ON MY WAY AGAIN
WIDE OPEN SEA, WIDE OPEN SKY
I'M ON THIS BOAT, AND I CAN'T REMEMBER WHY
I COULD SWEAR A MILLION MILES OF OCEANS PASSED ME BY
AND I HAVEN'T SEEN A SOUL
I GO ON BY GRACE OF GOD
WITH THE DEVIL ON MY HEELS
ON THIS SEA OF MADNESS
COMING FROM DEEP FOR ME
MY OWN INSANITY
GOT ME FALLING THROUGH THE SUN
I GO ON THE SUN RELENTLESSLY FOLLOWING ME
IT'S GOOD TO SEE THE ORANGE RED GLOW
BURNING INTO THE SEA
USHERING IN THE NIGHT
THE SKY AWASH WITH STARS
DON'T KNOW IF I'M GOING IN CIRCLES
THERE'S NO WAY TO TELL
ON THIS TWISTED SEA OR IS THIS REALLY HELL
MADMAN ON THE WATER
MADMAN ON THE SEA
TAKEN BY THE SUN, DRIVEN TO INSANITY
HOLDING ON BY A THREAD, BUT I'M FREE
IN WHAT'S LEFT OF MY MIND
I'VE GOT NOTHING BUT TIME
DRIFTING ON A FLAT SEA
MIRROR TO THE SKY
NO IDEA OF HOW OR WHY
I GO ON WITHOUT REASON OR CAUSE
I GO ON IN SPITE OF MY FLAWS
DRIFTING ON THE SEA OF MADNESS
THAT HAS NO BEGINNING OR END
THIS COULD GO ON FOREVER
I FEEL LIKE I'M FALLING
HEADLONG INTO THE STARS
AND I CAN'T STOP
